The emphasis is on developing individual projects and styles. The instructor will provide alternative approaches to glazing, which includes understanding underglazes and their uses. Students will be encouraged to explore colorful and painterly surfaces and experiment with different clay bodies. Projects explore working in a series, glaze experimentation, and surface design techniques.
