Learn basic pottery techniques: handbuilding, glazing and decoration. Individual instruction is provided with emphasis on developing the child’s creative imagination. Slab, coil and pinch pot projects will be among the techniques explored. Materials and firing fees included. Registration for this class begins Tues. Nov. 18 at 10:00am.

NEW! Introduction to Animation (ages 10-14)

The animation course for children offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers the fundamentals of animation, including principles of movement, character design, and storyboards. They will start by creating simple flip books and progress to more complex projects, such as creating their own animated short films or designing characters and animating them using traditional techniques. With hands-on projects and guided instruction, students will learn how to bring their imaginations to life, create their own animated characters, and develop storytelling skills. By the end of the course, they will have a solid foundation in animation and be able to create their own animated short film.

Cartooning (ages 6-9)

Make your cartoons come to life.  Create exciting super heroes, action figures and story ideas for your own comic strip.  You will learn how to draw dynamic facial expressions and figures-in-action sequences.  Just bring your ideas and see how quickly you will develop your own unique style.  All materials are included.
