1. This part is all about color. Through exercises and small experiments, you’ll become adept at color mixing, making color choices, and using a variety of application techniques. The goal is using color freely, fearlessly, and creatively in your paintings.

2. Next, artists move to working larger in oils on their choice of prepared paper, board or canvas. We’ll cover preparing/toning surfaces, composing for maximum impact, and painting with minimal detail to stress the drama of your color using light and shadow.
