Explore the process of painting still life and landscape paintings! You will be amazed at how quickly your style and artistic ability develop by using easy and intuitive painting techniques. Learn the basics of toning the canvas, drawing a composition, and mixing colors. Emphasis is on creativity and you are free to experiment and develop your own expressive style. Demonstrations, individual critiques, and examples of famous artists' works will be shown. Students may choose to paint with oil or acrylic on canvas. A materials list will be sent upon registration.
