| For this exhibition, Rockland Center for the Arts researched the little known existence of major local art that has rarely left the privacy of their protective owner's homes. The search uncovered a treasure trove of work that spans two centuries and consists of some of the most acclaimed artists, worldwide working in a diversity of styles and medium. The collections included in this exhibit reflects a range of taste and selectivity 20th Century American and European art, African sculpture and textiles, 19th and 20th century photography, primitive art, 19th century works on paper and the work of local artists. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
