Portfolio Projects | Ages 13 to 18
F70 10 sessions starting Tues. Sept. 21 4:30-6:00pm
Attention aspiring artists: This class will help you develop a portfolio of artwork for application to art school or college art program. We will focus on figure drawing from a clothed model, painting, collage, mixed media, etc. Projects will enhance the students’ observation skills and creative thinking. At the end of this class, students will have a number of pieces reflecting their personality and creative ability.

NEW | Intro to Black and White Photography: Camera and Darkroom 13-17
F165 6 sessions starting Wed. Oct. 16 4:00-6:30pm
This workshop will introduce teens to the basics of black-and-white photography using FILM. Students will learn to make exposures with a 35mm camera, process film, and make enlargements in the instructors’ state of the art darkroom in Piermont. Along with classroom instruction, students will expand their technical knowledge of photography by experiencing first hand where it all began. Students must have a 35mm manual camera. A material list will be sent upon registration. This class will be held at the photographer’s professional studio in Piermont and is limited to 6 students.

NEW | Teen Wheel Throwing | Ages 13-17

A course focusing on the basics of wheel throwing. Various aspects of clay properties, glazing and design are explored. For beginning and intermediate students. Basic handbuilding will be covered. Materials and firing fees included.
