This workshop will give you the opportunity to understand how to make your sketchbook a valuable part of your art development. Sketchbooks have been used by visual artists, designers, dancers, and writers for many years. How were they used? What did they fill them with? A sketchbook is a safe place to explore your imagination, doodle, put down your thoughts or just vent. Nothing is too precious to keep from your sketch- book. We will look at samples from well known artists. Delve into imagery and what it means to each of us. The sketchbook can be a repository for your artistic thoughts, store ideas, solve problems, make mistakes, and experiment with imagery and tools. Most importantly, the sketchbook is a place to play. A materials list will be sent upon registration.
Registration begins Thurs. March 23 at 9am.
