Details

A creative approach to the art of pottery.  The class will focus on the form and structure of the sculpture, while assessing what basic hand-building skills will be needed to acheive the desired results for the project.  Basic hand-building skills such as coiling, pinching and slab methods will be referenced.  Individual attention will be given to each student to help bring out their individual styles and explore experiementation with surface design techniques.  The students are encouraged to keep sketchbooks of ideas and documentation of glaze results.
