A SPECIAL Artist Event-Living and Sustaining a Creative Life
Essays by 40 Working Artists Edited by Sharon Louden
Sept 28 2:00pm 201
Artist, book creator and moderator Sharon Louden, leads this event based on her collection of essays written by 40 working artists entitled “Living and Sustaining a Creative Life.” One of the goals of this book is to dispel the belief that there is only one way to chart a path into a creative and sustainable life as an artist. This collection of essays is intended to show the reality of how artists – from the unknown to the established – juggle their lives with the everyday needs of making a living.
Ms. Louden will be joined by Sharon Butler, artist and creator of the website, “Two Coats of Paint” ,
Kevin Paulsen, artist, muralist and Bergdorf Goodman Gallery artist, and Robert Egert, artist and art writer.
Admission by donation appreciated.
