You Are Invited to
A Rip Roarin’ Event
Barn Dance, BBQ & Bourbon Tasting

To benefit RoCA
(Rockland Center for the Arts)
Saturday, May 19, 2007
3PM to 8PM at the Historic Teurner-Remsen House (circa 1743) home of Rob Fellows and Arlene Rodgers 285 Old Mill Road, Valley Cottage, NY 10989

Pickin’ & Skippin’
The Old No. 7 Band will keep things hoppin’ with country favorites and their own brand of classic rock. The band features Rockland locals Bruce Tucker, Jim Kimak, Dan Hanchrow, Bruce Kain, Len Hunt and Bobby Knee. The inimitable David Levy will call out the square dance and help novices with the steps. You’ll be doe-see-doein’ like an expert.

Grub
Put on the feed bag with true Memphis style BBQ and authentic southern smoked foods prepared on-site by the award-winning Front Street Smokehouse (seen on BBQ with Bobby Flay) in "Little Nelly", their competition Smoker. The "eats" include hamburgers, grilled chicken and Saint Louis style pork ribs with all the fixin’s! And plenty of wine, beer and soft drinks to wet your whistle.

Sippin’
Pull up a seat, have a pour and get to know bourbon from grain to glass. Small Batch Bourbon Whiskey Professor, Bernie Lubbers of the Jim Beam distillery will share his skill and "spirit". After an hour with Bernie, you’ll know all about whiskey and a good joke or two.
