Evening Highlights

Join us for a grand party under a great white tent on the Art Center's sylvan
grounds. Renowned author, George Plimpton, will host the evening's
entertainment. Enjoy a musical interlude by Philomusica. Stroll through the
one-acre Sculpture Park and preview the new exhibit "Function & Fantasy: The
Art of Design". Kate Davidson and Robert Hoover will offer a selection of
music by Kurt Weill & Lotte Lenya, both founders of the art center.

George Plimpton
Writer, Editor, Actor
Mr. Plimpton is the author of Paper Lion, Truman Capote, & Mad Ducks and
Bears.
He has been editor-in-chief of The Paris Review since 1953 and has in
appeared 30 movies including Good Will Hunting and Lawrence of Arabia. He is
President of the Board of Philomusica.

playwright, Maxwell Anderson, who was a founder of the Rockland Center for
the Arts.

Niles Davies, Jr.
Proprietor of Dr. Davies Farm, a past President of the Art Center, and a
greatly admired leader in the community.
Grandson of the renowned painter Arthur B. Davies.

Lois Smith
Founder and Managing Director of PMK Public Relations representing leading
stars of stage & screen. A former member of the Board of Directors of the
Art Center.
